Ugadi is celebrated on the First Day of the Hindu Calendar month of ‘Chaitra’ to mark the auspicious beginning of the New Year. It is celebrated in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with great fanfare. Students of Saraswathi Kendra started the Ugadi celebration with prayer. Dance was performed to celebrate the festival of Fun and Colour.
