Our primary students were taken on a field trip to Birla Planetarium on the 27th of February, 2018. They not only got to witness a virtual tour of the night sky but also enjoyed the cosmic show. They relaxed and played at the park after the session.
The students of Preparatory III and IV were taken to Mahabalipuram- The land of the Pandyas. The students explored the architectural beauty of the temples and monuments. They were taken aback and fascinated witnessing the Krishna’s Butterball. They returned to school after lunch and enthusiastically shared their experiences with all of us.
Students of Junior II,III and Preparatory I were taken to The Madras Crocodile Bank for their field trip. The Madras Crocodile Bank is one of its kind which was started in efforts to conserve reptiles which were nearing the brink of extinction. The students were taken on a tour around the premises where they observed reptiles such as crocodiles, turtles, tortoises, lizards (water monitors) and snakes through which they were taught the importance of environmental education and herpetology.
