Blue Cross visit- July 14, 2017

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated” – Mahatma Gandhi

Children from Preparatory 2 to preparatory 4 were taken on an educational trip to Blue Cross to raise awareness on the welfare of animals. These classes had already been enrolled in the Kindness Kids programme run by the CPR Foundation where they are taught to be compassionate towards animals.

The children enjoyed meeting four legged and feathered friends. They were briefed about how and where the animals are rescued from and also about the daily activities which happen at Blue Cross. The students donated biscuits, grains, fruits, vegetables, old bed sheets, plastic containers and money for the animals.  Blue Cross is always in need of donations from supporters to continue their animal welfare activities. You can also drop by and donate to Blue Cross either in cash or kind. Let’s make the world a better place for our fellow beings. 🙂
